Special Milestone : 25 Lac patients served through our Mobile Medical Clinics
We are delighted to share that our 51 Mobile Medical Clinics (MMCs) serving 2661 impoverished and remote tribal villages in 21 districts of Madhya Pradesh have now served more than 25 Lac patients through this service.
Each of these 2661 villages are served by these clinics in a half-monthly cycle.
At the present rate, these clinics are cumulatively serving 5 to 6 thousand patients everyday.
The first MMC was started on 14th June ’21 in Sheopur. In the Calendar Year 2025 we had set up 30 MMCs.
Our experience of working in remote and impoverished tribal villages in Madhya Pradesh had highlighted the dismal conditions of people suffering with various diseases or disabilities. Due to poverty, lack of access to effective treatment and doctors, they keep suffering from the illness without getting proper treatment. The worst hit are the elderly, womenfolk and children. Many of these illnesses are of chronic nature too. Therefore, we decided to launch mobile clinic service to serve such villages.
We employ a qualified doctor who visits 4-5 villages daily and examines around 100-150 patients. The clinics provide primary healthcare and also perform the crucial function of diagnosing serious ailments. Free medicines are provided to the patients. Those patients who are referred to Block or District Level Hospitals, because of serious illness, are also taken to these hospitals for treatment through our ambulance services. A significant number have been taken to higher centres like AIIMS Delhi, Jaipur, Nagpur, Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore etc.
The per person cost to us comes about Rs 64, which includes fuel cost, manpower costs, medical consultation and medicines.
The annual cost of running a single clinic is about Rs 18 Lacs.
The District Administration of each of these districts has been greatly appreciative of this service.
Working in difficult terrains and under challenging conditions, our doctors and healthcare teams have consistently upheld the medical ethics and compassion. For countless individuals and families, they have been not merely healthcare providers, but the first point of care, trust, and hope. Their sustained presence in the field has saved lives, reduced suffering, and restored dignity in communities where access to healthcare was once a distant dream.
