Parivaar Girls shine again in Basketball.
In the recently concluded Inter-School Basketball Tournament, organised by the West Bengal Basketball Federation, all three of our teams in their respective age-groups of Sub Junior (U-13), Junior (U-16) and Senior (U-19) reached the finals. We won the tournament in the Junior category defeating the team from Modern High School with a scoreline of 57-37. The news item also appeared in the leading daily ‘The Telegraph.
Our child Namani Karmakar who studies in Class 10 and belongs to Jhargram district won the prize for the ‘Most Valuable Player of the Tournament’.
We are immensely grateful to our training partner Hi5 Youth Foundation for the heights that our children keep scaling in the basketball circuit.
